Hi, I'm Mack Thomas, founder of Your Greatest Health.
As of this writing I'm 56 years old, and in an ongoing battle every day for weight loss, better health & wellness. Throughout my life, I've experienced high blood pressure and hypertension. About 5 years ago, my doctor also told me that I was "pre-diabetic" and put me on Metformin like millions of other Americans. I struggle with high glucose daily and high A1C every doctor's visit.
Since then, I've actively changed my lifestyle. I eat better than ever. Cut carbs and sweets. I exercise a little but spend too many hours running my own company, so I don't take the time needed to really workout.
I've tried KETO for a while and that diet just wouldn't work for my digestive system. I've taken my Dr prescribed meds faithfully every day for years. I eat more salads now than ever before and cut out virtually all sweet drinks. Yet I found myself gaining about 2 pounds per year no matter what I did and watched my A1C increase a point or so every year too.
